Terms of Service

BusinessForSale.pk is a marketplace and brokerage desk that helps people buy and sell running businesses and commercial licences. We publish listings, verify some of them, prepare valuations, qualify buyers and arrange introductions.

Unless we agree otherwise in writing, we are not a party to any sale. The buyer and seller make their own decisions and sign their own agreement. Nothing on the site is legal, tax or investment advice.

• You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract under Pakistani law.
• Give accurate information, including a mobile number you control, and keep it up to date.
• Keep your password private; you are responsible for activity on your account.
• We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put other users at risk.

• You must own the business or licence, or be authorised to sell it, and you must have the right to share the information and photos you upload.
• Everything you state — sales, profit, rent, lease, licences, liabilities — must be true and not misleading. You are responsible for the accuracy of your listing.
• We review listings before they go live and may edit, decline or remove a listing at our discretion, including if a licence cannot lawfully be transferred.
• Tell us promptly if anything material changes, or if the business is sold or no longer for sale.
• Any fees for verification, valuation, featuring or a successful sale are agreed with you separately in writing before you incur them.

• Listing figures come from the seller and, for Verified listings, from documents we reviewed. They are not guaranteed and may change.
• Payback period and annual return are calculations from the asking price and the stated profit range, for comparison only — not forecasts.
• Carry out your own due diligence, and take independent legal and financial advice, before agreeing to buy.
• Do not contact a listed business, its owner, staff, landlord or suppliers directly about a sale; introductions are arranged through our desk.

When you accept a listing's confidentiality agreement you agree to:

• keep the business name, address, figures, documents and any other non-public details private;
• use them only to evaluate buying that business;
• not copy, publish or share them with anyone except your professional advisers, who must also keep them confidential;
• not contact the business, its staff, landlord or suppliers directly, or use the information to compete with or harm the business.

These obligations continue after you stop using the site. We record when you accept each NDA. Breaches may lead to account closure and legal action by us or the seller.

The Verified seal means our team carried out the checks described on our verification page at a point in time. Valuations and estimates are opinions based on the information provided and the methods described. Neither is a guarantee of the business's condition, value or future performance, and neither replaces your own due diligence.

• No false, misleading or fraudulent listings, enquiries or identities.
• No listing of businesses, goods or licences that are illegal to sell or transfer in Pakistan.
• No scraping, automated access, attempts to bypass access controls, or to see confidential details without accepting an NDA.
• No spam, harassment, or use of contact details for anything other than the introduction they were shared for.

You keep ownership of content you upload and give us a licence to host, display and adapt it (for example resizing photos) to run and promote your listing. The site's design, text, logos and software belong to us and may not be copied without permission.

We provide the site with reasonable skill and care, but we do not guarantee that listings are complete or accurate, that a sale will happen, or that the site will always be available or error-free.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses arising from a transaction between users, from information supplied by other users, or for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Pakistani law.

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. We encourage you to contact us first to resolve any issue. If a dispute cannot be resolved, the courts at Lahore will have jurisdiction.

We may update these terms. We will change the "Last updated" date, and continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
